Health and Safety Practices for In-Person Participation

Vaccine and Mask Requirements

  • Vaccinations — PROOF OF VACCINATION with photo ID is required for all conference attendees, exhibitors, vendors and staff. No exceptions.
  • Masks — All conference attendees, exhibitors, vendors and staff are required to wear a mask in the San Jose McEnery Convention Center at all times except when actively eating and drinking.
  • Travel Requirements — No current travel advisory or quarantine requirements issued by the state of California.

Note: All non-U.S. citizens must be fully vaccinated to travel to the United States by plane. All air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must also show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than one day before travel.

Advance Registration Deadline

Payment MUST be received with your registration form or with your online registration; NO Registration will be processed without payment. All payments must be in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. Registrations received after 23:59 EDT (UTC-04:00) on Tuesday, 19 April 2022 will be charged the regular rate. Upon receipt of your registration and payment, a confirmation letter will be e-mailed to each registrant within three (3) days. PAYMENT ISSUES WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF YOUR REGISTRATION. All speakers must be registered by 23:59 EDT (UTC-04:00) on Friday, 06 May 2022.

Badge Credentials (On-Site Only)

Your registration confirmation will include a barcode which you will scan on-site at the Express Registration Station in order to print your badge. Should you forget to bring the barcode with you, your badge can be obtained at the same Express Registration Counters. Please Note: NO BADGES WILL BE MAILED. Your technical badge represents value. As such, all technical badges can be replaced for a USD 25 badge reprint fee.

 

Policies and Terms of Registration

Reasonable Event Policies and Terms have been established for CLEO. We encourage you to read these carefully as all registrants to CLEO will be required to agree to these policies and terms as a condition of registration.


Privacy Policy

CLEO and its co-sponsors respect the privacy rights of our visitors and recognize the importance of protecting all information that you may choose to share with us. To further this commitment, we have adopted this Privacy Policy to guide how we collect, store and use the information you provide to us.

 

Payment

Credit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club). Payments made by check or wire transfer must be made payable to Optica in US dollars (USD) and drawn on a US bank. Payment must accompany your registration form in order to process your registration order.

 

Change and Cancellation Policy

Virtual Full-Conference registrants can change to In-Person Full Conference participation at any time before or during the conference. The difference in the registration rate is assessed based on when the original registration was completed:

  • Register before/on 19 April: Receive the comparable early registration rate for In-Person participation.
  • Register after 19 April: Receive the comparable regular registration rate for In-Person participation.

Note: Upgrade changes can be made on the registration website, by contacting Registration Customer Service or at the onsite Registration counter.

In-Person Full Conference registrants can change to Virtual Full-Conference participation through Tuesday, 26 April 2022. The refunded difference is based on when the original registration was completed and when the change request is submitted:

  • Register before/on 19 April and submit a change request before/on 19 April: Receive a refund for the difference between the early registration rates for In-Person and Virtual participation.
  • Register before/on 19 April and submit a change request after 19 April: Receive a refund for the difference between the early registration rate for In-Person participation and the regular registration rate for Virtual participation.
  • Register after 19 April and submit a change request after 19 April: Receive a refund for the difference between the regular registration rates for In-Person and Virtual participation.

Note: Downgrade changes must be made by contacting Registration Customer Service. Please allow four to six weeks to process a refund request.

Cancelling a Registration

Refund requests must be received in writing by Tuesday, 26 April 2022. A processing service charge of USD 75 is assessed. Registrations completed after Tuesday, April 26 2022 are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please allow four to six weeks to process a refund request.
