Thorlabs' Exulus^® Spatial Light Modulators (SLMs) employ Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) technology to produce high-resolution, high-speed reflective phase modulation with individually addressable pixels. 

Exulus spatial light modulators are driven by an HDMI signal and operate as a general Full HD, WUXGA, or 4K screen. Driving modes include full frame, image input, video input, Fresnel lens, diffraction, and computer-generated holography (CGH).

Our XRN series 2" optical rails have a precision machined dovetail and can be used to quickly create stable rigid mechanical assemblies without the need for additional hardware. Accessories include linear and rotation stages, mounting platforms, and positioners.

Thorlabs' galvanometer selection recently expanded to include 3-axis steering and high-speed Z-axis focusers.

Our 3-Axis Dynamic Focusing Scan Heads are capable of fields up to 1000 x 1000 mm² or spots down to Ø22 µm. The dynamic lens translator continuously adjusts the focus distance via a combination of manual and motorized actuators.

The BLINK high-speed focuser dynamically maps a focal correction onto the laser beam as a function of its XY position. By translating a focusing lens at high frequencies, it adjusts the effective focal point of a scanning system to account for large angles or arbitrary surfaces.

Thorlabs' QSL103A Q-Switched Picosecond Microchip Laser provides a turnkey, alignment-free solution for picosecond pulses at 1030 nm. Featuring a compact microchip laser cavity with a fiber-coupled pump laser, this source produces a high-quality beam (M² < 1.2) with high pulse energies at a kHz repetition rate, making it ideal for material processing applications or harmonic generation.

The output from this source has a 10 mrad divergence to allow for flexibility in the beam diameter. The laser head features SM05 (0.535"-40) internal threading on the beam aperture and 30 mm cage compatibility for easy integration of an external collimating lens.

Thorlabs' Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCLs) are composed of multiple quantum well heterostructures and utilize interband transitions to access the mid-infrared. With center wavelengths between 3.00 µm and 11.00 μm, they are offered in four packages: a two-tab C-mount, a Ø9 mm TO can, a D-mount, and a high heat load (HHL) package with horizontal emission. 

Thorlabs' TO-can-packaged Fabry-Perot Quantum Cascade Lasers provide the power and broadband mid-IR emission of a Fabry-Perot QCL in a convenient Ø9 mm TO can package. The broadband emission of each laser makes them well suited for medical imaging, illumination, and thermal signal simulation.
