MHX Stainless Steel Mirror Mounts - Hollow-Frame Design
MHX-series mounts are all-stainless steel holders made for standard 12.7 (0.5-in.) and 25.4-mm (1-in.) mirrors. They feature a hollow-frame design that not only provides a higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness but also thinner, reduced-mass sections allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts. In addition to their excellent thermal stability and repeatability, they have many other key features, like, front or rear optic loading, alignment pin holes, and center-post mounting. Knobs and locks for the MHX mirror mounts are available separately.
SUPER Mirrors from OptoSigma.
These are standard catalog mirrors with SUPER HIGH reflectivity’s of R>99.999% @ 1064nm, R>99.995% @ 532nm. A variety of custom wavelengths are available upon request. The Fused Silica substrates are super polished to Ra<0.1nm, 1/10th wave P-V Surface Flatness, 10-5 Scratch Dig and they have an AR coating on the second surface. The optical coatings are manufactured using Ion-Beam-Sputtering to minimize scatter and absorption. R% is guaranteed through a laser-based cavity ring down metrology method. These mirrors are used in applications such as Optical Cavities, Fabry-Perot resonators, Atomic Clocks, and more.
OptoSigma offers a full range of catalog objectives for your microscopy or laser processing needs. Our long working distance, infinity correct visible objective lenses can be used with a laser system and provide coaxial observation. OptoSigma’s UV, NUV, VIS, and NIR objectives have reduced chromatic aberration for viewing on-axis with your laser source. Modular Microscope Observation Unit with Coaxial Illumination (OUCI) Systems
OptoSigma OUCI components give you build-your-own microscope capability. The OUCI Observation Unit is the central building block for you to add coaxial illumination and observations with a camera. When coupled with the laser injection unit, you can add laser illumination to the mix. OptoSigma’s manual translation stages provide precise, high-resolution travel over any of the six linear degrees of freedom. The offering includes linear stages, rotation stages, goniometers, labjacks and manual actuators like micrometers. Piezo Assist Stages
Piezo-Assist Stages are a new family of linear translation products, equipped with hybrid micrometer / piezo-stack actuation. The piezo adjustment is designed to be used in conjunction with the micrometer to extend the stage resolution from 10μm down to <20nm. They are available in 25, 40, and 60-millimeter platform sizes. They are configured for X, X-Y, and Z-axis linear translation. Controllers are available in 1-axis and 3-axis versions.
High-Resolution Piezomotor Actuators
In addition to providing 30-nm high-resolution adjustment, our PDM-series of Piezomotor Actuators provides much longer travel ranges compared to piezo-stack actuators. Two travel ranges are available, 6mm and 13mm, for adapting to various mounts or custom designs. Their industry-standard shanks insures compatibility with most manual linear stages or rotation stages, especially those from OptoSigma! A 2-axis controller is available with sample programs.
New Laser Safety Eyewear YL-780 Series
Our new YL-780 laser eyewear product line can provide a universal fit for everybody, ensuring a tight fit between your face and the glasses, due to options for low and high bridge frame types. These safety glasses are polycarbonate with anti-fog coatings. The frames incorporate features such as “Flex Frame” for adjusting overall width/fit, “Cushion Bar” for a soft fit and “Bendable Arms” for a snug fit. They can be conveniently worn over prescription glasses. The YL-780 series come in ten different wavelength ranges, covering most lasers, wavelengths, and applications. Safety and comfort assured!
