Spirit^® sets new standards for femtosecond lasers in high-precision industrial manufacturing for micromachining of polymers, thin metals, sapphire, polycrystalline diamond, and many other materials. The Mai Tai^® DeepSee™ Ti:Sapphire oscillator with our patented automated dispersion compensation1 has been specifically optimized for use in multiphoton microscopy. The Mai Tai DeepSee laser delivers the industry’s highest peak power to the sample thus maximizing the fluorescence signal. In addition, it offers over 2.4 W of average power and 350 nm (690-1040 nm) in useable tuning range.

Element 2 is the newest generation of Spectra-Physics’ leading ultrafast few-cycle pulsed oscillators, specifically designed for superior stability, lowest noise, and hands-free operation. When paired with the newest version of our optional carrier envelope phase stabilization (CEP4), the result is the most stable and low-noise source of ultrashort, CEP stable pulses, opening the door to the most demanding ultrafast scientific applications.

WaveTrain 2 is an advanced stand-alone device that provides simple frequency doubling |of single frequency CW laser beams. With greater efficiency than traditional intra-cavity or extra-cavity methods, this product can be used to generate the second harmonic of the output of the Matisse® 2.

The Matisse C is fully automated for truly hands free operation. The laser is controlled with an intuitive GUI for quick and easy wavelength selection, piezo scanning, and frequency locking. It is housed in a compact closed box with no external adjustment knobs. Broadband coated mirrors enable uninterrupted tuning across 700–1000 nm while eliminating the need to change optics sets.

femtoTrain is a family of compact, reliable and true turn-key fixed-wavelength femtosecond oscillator for medical, bio-imaging and other applications. The new femtoTrain 1040-5 offers short pulse widths below 220 fs and high average power of 5 W to deliver 2 MW of peak power. As a compact, reliable and true turn-key fixed-wavelength femtosecond laser, femtoTrain is ideal for medical and bio-imaging applications in general, and specifically for photoactivation in optogenetics.
