The YLMO with its PM-fiber design guarantees excellent stability and consistent long-term performance.
The YLMO is engineered with life science and multi-photon applications in mind. The pulses can be pre-chirped to attain their shortest width within their intended target sample. For ease of operation, the laser is switched on by the push of a single button.

Our laser systems for experiments with cold atoms or ions, such as optical (lattice) clocks or quantum simulation or quantum computing, are complete rack-mounted solutions. The FC1500-Quantum system consists of a cavity-stabilized laser for sub-Hz linewidth, an optical frequency comb in the visible and infrared, and several customizable CW lasers. The comb transfers the narrow linewidth and stability throughout the entire spectrum and to the CW lasers, which are locked to the comb for all required electronic transitions: cooling, repumping, and clock transitions.

The Optical Reference System ORS is designed for uncompromised performance. It delivers ultra-narrow linewidth laser light with outstanding frequency stability.

The system’s centerpiece is a high-finesse Fabry-Pérot cavity (cylindrical spacer with a length of 12.1 cm) serving as a reference for a CW laser. The cavity is made out of ultra-low expansion glass (ULE) and is operated in vacuum at the point of zero thermal expansion. The reference cavity is actively decoupled from vibrations and acoustically isolated allowing for ultimate performance also in rough laboratory environments. An easy-to-use cavity-locking mechanism ensures portability without realignment of the optical paths.

The compact terahertz spectrometer TeraSmart integrates the latest achievements in broadband Terahertz Time Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS) into an easy-to use turnkey solution. It combines Menlo Systems’ latest fiber-based femtosecond lasers featuring our figure 9^® mode locking technology with our industry-proven THz components. The modular design based on our OEM laser platform ELMO ensures a flexible system configuration to meet the needs for integration in any industrial or scientific environment. The length of the optical fibers to theTHz antennas are customizable. Moreover, multibranch configurations are possible, enabling simultaneous measurements of several emitter/detector pairs using only one fs fiber laser oscillator.

The OSE is a one-of-a-kind compact Optical Sampling Engine that includes two femtosecond erbium fiber lasers, synchronized with high-accuracy phase-locking electronics. It allows for high-speed pump-probe scanning over many nanoseconds of time delay without mechanical delay line. In just 19” 3U, it features a fully automated turn-key asynchronous optical sampling system (ASOPS). The repetition rate of the lasers is locked with a tunable repetition rate difference. A TTL output is integrated for triggering customer data acquisition devices. Due to its modular design, the OSE is the most versatile dual laser system on the market.

SmartComb is an optical metrology system in a revolutionary compact package. In just 19” 3U it features the first fully automated turn-key optical frequency comb designed and built for use both in- and outside the optics lab. It measures optical frequencies anywhere between 530-2000 nm. Feed in your laser and get the frequency with 14 digits. Alternatively, it provides optical reference lines in the same spectral range. With its internal RF-reference, SmartComb can be used as a standalone device. For highest precision measurements, a radio frequency or an optical reference input is available to stabilize the SmartComb.
