The CS210F-GMX-20-OM is the ARS Ultra Low Vibration Closed Cycle Cryostat for Optical Micrscopy applications such as MicroRaman and Micro Photoluminescence. The CS210F-GMX-20-OM uses a Helium Exchange Gas to decouple the sample from the cold tip of the DE-210 Cryocooler. This prevents almost all vibration from being transmitted to the sample. Sample vibrations of 10 nm have been exhibited. Due to the exchange gas being less conductive, the base temperature will increase by 4-5K and the cooling capacity is roughly cut in half at varying temperatures.

Advanced Research Systems, Inc. manufactures its own series of Closed Cycle Solvay Cryocoolers.  These are pneumatically driven cryocoolers that are offered as both single and two-stage units.  

Solvay Cryocoolers are a good alternative to Liquid
Helium (a nonrenewable resource) for cooling applications. These cryocoolers are
environmentally friendly and economical. 

The two-stage units are designed for applications where very low temperatures are needed. These system come available at 10 K, < 5.5 K, and < 4 K cryocoolers. The cooling power at 4.2 K are 0.1 W, 0.2 W, 1.1 W

The CS202*E-DMX-1AL offers a wide range of flexibility at a low cost, making it an excellent choice for most sample and device testing. This system is well suited for optical, electrical, and magnetic sample testing.
