CLEO joins the world in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Laser. To mark the anniversary date of this historic occasion, May 16, we’ve gathered laser pioneers, historians and others to talk about their experiences and contributions to one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century—one that has revolutionized the way we live. A badge is required for attendance.

Early Soviet Papers on Quantum Electronics Now Available
As part of the celebration of the 50 years of Laser, a collection of early Soviet papers on Quantum Electronics covering the period 1939-1972 is now available.
This collection would be helpful for both Russian- and English-speaking readers, especially for the latter since several papers have never been published in English.
