Tech Playground Rules

How to participate in Technology Playground and the chance to win a Mini iPad – Easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Pick up a Tech Playground Entry flyer/entry card at one of these places – OSA Booth, IEEE Photonics Society Booth (both in the hallway outside the exhibit hall), Materials Pick up Booth, Information Booth (both near Registration) or a participating company.
  2. Visit ALL participating CLEO Tech Playground Companies noted on the flyer and learn about their products.  Participating Companies will stamp your flyer/entry card to confirm you have stopped by to hear more about their products.
  3. After you have received a stamp from all participating companies, you can drop off your flyer at the OSA booth or the IEEE Photonics Society Booth. Make sure you have filled out the contact information so we can call you if you are a winner. Drawings will occur shortly before the Expo closes. See flyer for drop off and drawing details.

Winners are announced DAILY 2 ways: Twitter #CLEO13 hash tag & announced at the EXPO 5 minutes before close.

CONTEST RULES: Maximum one entry per person.  Drawings are approved at the sole discretion of OSA staff.  Entrants automatically agree to legal terms and conditions outlined below. Contest winners are selected by random drawing only and must have proof of stamp for all participating Technology Playground company participants. Entrants also need to complete the entry form with all contact information in order to be notified.  Employees of OSA, IEEE Photonics Society and CLEO Exhibitors are not eligible to participate.
LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By entering, you represent that: (i) you have stopped at all participating Tech Playground Booths and completed the entry form with all the correct contact information.

OSA as manager of CLEO: 2013 reserves the right to amend these official rules and to disqualify permanently from the Contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules. By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless OSA and IEEE Photonics Society and any other affiliates of CLEO: 2013 from any and all liability associated with this promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER THE CONTEST

A total of 3 mini iPads or gift card equivalent will be distributed to contest winners.  Your odds of winning depend on the number of contest participants.

Winners will receive the mini iPad within 90 days of winning.
