CLEO: Applications Topics

See the list of Invited Speakers

The program covers the following areas and is accepting submissions for contributed papers.

CLEO: Applications seeks to provide a forum to discuss the transition of basic and applied research innovations into products. CLEO: Applications encourages contributions describing the development and demonstration of new components, systems and applications of lasers and electro-optics technology. The emphasis is on technology validations in relevant environments. This can include demonstrations of component or breadboard systems in the laboratory, prototype demonstrations in operational environment, and field test results. Engineering and manufacturing advances enabling new technology to be commercially viable, emerging applications for technology, and descriptions of technology needs for specific markets are also appropriate. CLEO: Applications focuses programming in four technology areas: biomedical, energy and the environment, government programs and industrial applications.
