HIGH-RESOLUTION INFRARED CAMERA FOR SCIENTIFIC AND R&D APPLICATIONS
Portland, OR – May 15, 2010 – FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLIR), the world’s leading manufacturer of infrared cameras, announced the release of its new SC645, a high-resolution infrared camera that provides both high frame rates and full 640 × 480 imagery, designed specifically for scientific, and research and development applications.
Affordable, compact, and powerful, the SC645 provides over 300,000 pixels of accurate temperature measurement data.
The SC645 is the world’s first high-resolution uncooled infrared camera to provide high-speed windowing modes (up to 200 Hz with a 640 × 120 window), and digital control of image flow and recording to FLIR’s R&D software. The SC645 is also fully compliant with both GenICam and GigE Vision protocols, making it ready to integrate with a variety of third-party analysis software packages.
This combination makes the SC645 the most effective tool available for infrared research, product development, and non-destructive testing, helping you to capture and record thermal distribution and variations in real time, so you can see and accurately quantify heat patterns, dissipation, leakage, and other heat-related factors in equipment, products, and processes.
FLIR’s infrared science cameras give you the latest imaging and communication features you need to gather important data quickly and accurately. For intelligent, flexible cameras designed to meet the most demanding requirements, choose FLIR’s SC-Series infrared cameras.
